    Tube Swapped Macintosh SE

At the Green Bay show in October, we parted out a KayPro 4 and I got the green phosphor monochrome tube. I talked to @PS2it and he put that tube into a Macintosh at our Retro Game Night at the Museum show in Wausau Wisconsin. While this was a huge success, the Macintosh in question did not work...

Retro Game Night at the Museum 11.1.24

Finally, @PS2it tube swapped a Macintosh SE with the green phosphor tube from the old parts KayPro. Being a Macintosh it decided to not boot for some reason (because that's what Macs do), but you can see in the second photo that the tube swap did work as the pointer is visible in the upper left...

More? MORE! Mr. Mehciz brought his "Crystal Amiga" setup, an Amiga 500 with all of it's major components in clear shells to show off all the hardware inside. Here it is running "Space Ace" and looking marvelous. I don't recall what accelerator that is at the moment. I'll add that in...

Some more photos! Mr. Moran brought this WYSE serial terminal again, and this time had it hooked up to a camera in a roundabout way. The Rapsberry Pi converts the images captured by the camera and converts them into ASCII characters the terminal can display, producing a low-definition...

More photos again! Mr. Collins brought his OtterX, a "clone" of the 8-Bit Guy David Murray's Commander X16 computer. This one is built inside of a rather striking clear acrylic case.

More photos! Here we have a familiar trio, the Atari 2600, TurboGrafx-16, and Sega Saturn. This was the inaugural run of the "Free To A Good Home" #FTAGH box. Two, actually, plus some extras. The goal of the box is to take surplus items that club members don't need that others might find...
