    Apple 2gs

They have a controller that will mount images off a compact flash, I’m going to probably get one of those too. Then I need to get it hooked up to the internet. I wish my color classic 2 was still working.

    Apple 2gs

That would be cool. I have a LocalTalk to Ethernet adapter, although I don’t know if that will work with these. I was always impressed with how full featured these were. I’m hoping to get this one to be a reasonably functional system.

    Apple 2gs

Hello, I got my hands on a 2gs yesterday from BitHistory and I’m wondering if anyone else has done much with these and if there are recommendations for hardware or accessories. I’ve got a floppy emu on order, but beyond that I’m not sure what else I’d like to do other than have a working system...

    Sleeper systems

@DaveG I really liked the project. I’m now looking for a similar type of project to do. It would be a good use of one of the Wyse 5070 clients I’ve got and might give some life to a broken old machine.

Pinging this: @PS2it are you still planning on swinging by the BitHistory sale?

    Sleeper systems

Hello, One of the neater projects I saw at the open house was the Atari sleeper build that was really a mini pc inside the case w/ the board to control the keyboard. That got me wondering if anyone else in the club has done that, or if there are any systems that are particularly interesting...

    Fox River Area Planning Thread

I checked in brown, there are a few libraries that have openings on Saturday, but we need to get a time in now. Do you have any date suggestions?

    Free stuff!

I’ll be available Sunday whether that’s meeting up around here or me taking a drive. Obviously since you’re giving me something free I’ll be available. I am planning and going to the BitHistory perhaps if it works with the time.

    Free stuff!

I’m in Green Bay, so the weekends usually work the best if you’re over more mid state. Would sometime this weekend work?

I’ll definitely take the blue/white one. When/where can I pick it up?

    Fox River Area Planning Thread

I know I’ve expressed my interest in having an open house in the Green Bay Area, and I’ve read the same is true in Appleton. I thought I’d make a planning thread for this as ai volunteered to be the fixer to get the event together in Green Bay and I can handle that for Appleton as well.

Terrific! Do you happen to know what the cpu is in either? I’m obviously not picky, but the more power the better for my purposes (I’m archiving old vhs tapes). I can certainly make the trek to wherever to pick one up.

Any of this still available? If so, do you know if any of the pcs have agp?

    Atari 65 XE

Thank you for the offer, but I don’t have the computer yet. My parents are bringing it when they are in town (my uncle apparently had it and it’s been in storage since the 90s). I’m over in Green Bay, so it’s also a bit of a hike to most of the open house events.

    Atari 65 XE

Sorry for the delay in responding I still haven’t gotten the email situation with the forum figured out. I believe I will be getting a disk drive, but I don’t know the working condition of anything (I think I’ll have to find a ac adapter). Right now I only have a 2600 so this will be...

    Atari 65 XE

Hello, So I’m about to get an Atari 65 XE and I was wondering if anyone had one or had any impressions. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know they existed.

    Transferring VHS tapes

Hello, I've started down the process of transferring family VHS tapes to digital storage. One of the things I've found (from my first attempt) is that several of the solutions out there are not very good (almost all the eazycap clones). It looks like a lot of the ideal pieces of hardware are...

    Haiku OS with Action Retro

I've been following them for more than 20 years at this point. Not trying to take away the work that has been done by volunteers, but it's crazy to think they've probably spent 4x the time to get Haiku to about the place Be was in the 90's. That being said, I'm glad to see people still working...
