Acer Aspire R (OUT)

Bit of an oddball, this is a new-ish Acer Aspire R tablet convertible from 2017 or so. It's got an Intel Core i7, but I'm not sure about the other specs. It uses an M.2 form factor solid state drive for storage, which is missing. This thing was deemed "beyond repair" by a repair shop, and I saved the device from the recyclers. While I have managed to boot Linux on it, it's clear the machine has some underlying issues as it doesn't always power up, and will sometimes cut out unexpectedly, or crash in odd ways. Sometimes it runs great, other times it won't start at all- it's very odd.

In terms of specs, this would still make for a good browsing laptop, an art tablet, an e-reader, or even a light gaming rig depending on what you play. Sorting out the issues is on you- I believe it has some faulty RAM, but it's somewhat beyond my capabilities to fully diagnose or repair. Includes the charger. Free to a good home!
