Apple Lisa

What is the price range for a complete working one?
Working examples usually sell north of $2000, though they are few and far between these days.

I still keep thinking we'll find one in he wild someday. I'm still surprised with the things people will list for sale and send out these days.

I would love a Lisa computer, but it seems to be very common that they have some form of corrosion. Still super cool computers and some may be repairable if you want to replace traces and such.

This one will go for big bucks based on this photo alone:

Someone removed the battery pack before it could explode and destroy the machine.

Wow, super clean! I don’t think I have seen one so pristine from an online listing! The Lisa is definitely on my list of instant purchases if I won the lottery 😅

For the record, I did put a bid in, but that was several hundred dollars ago. I'd expect this one will go north of $1000 soon enough.

But, if pretty much all of the current bidders cancel their bids, we're in it! 🤭

I’m crossing my fingers!

Man, would love to try out one of these some day! I just saw the 40th Birthday Show for the Lisa posted by the Computer History Museum. Had a bunch of the original developers and engineers from the original Lisa project.
