Gateway with a 36" Monitor

Not a typo. Not a misprint. It's a Gateway 2000 Destination computer home theater system that incorporates a 36" CRT tv-style monitor. Listing is HERE.

I have an old boss that used to have one of these. IIRC, there were at least two different TV sizes. I think he had the smaller one, around 31-32 inches. He might still have it. If anybody is interested, I can ask him since he probably no longer wants it.

Just blows my mind that these things even exist. It makes sense, but man, what a thing to have to haul around.

Part of me says "oh yes, a giant monitor, that would be awesome!" but the realist in me says "where would I put it, and what would I do with it?" and I don't have a good answer for either. Many thanks for the offer though!

Yeah, I totally understand. You are, after all, talking to the guy that maybe just maybe (hopefully) gets to figure out a spot for a refrigerator-sized computer (thanks to you!)
