Thanks to the absolutely incredible generosity of a gentleman from Merrill Wisconsin (North of Wausau), I (and by extension the Wisconsin Computer Club) have a whole array of cool new machines to play with. It's taken more than a day just to catalog what we have; it really is difficult to express how grateful we are to have such awesome donors out there!

We have piles of hardware and hundreds of disks to test, so I'm tentatively planning some times when those interested want to get together at the shop here. There's a lot of "original" disks in here, and I'm curious to see what interesting things we might yet find.

On the show front, nothing is cleaned, tested, or configured yet- but once that's all done we should have:
A couple more C64's (depending on parts)
A "slab" C128
A Packard Bell Monitor
A Commodore 1571 Disk Drive
A Pentium computer or two (we'll need cases though, more on that later)
More? Probably.

There's a LOT of parts here too, mostly PC stuff from about 1992 onward- mostly Dell and Gateway stuff. If anyone is looking for anything, as always, shout it out so we can help you find it. Odds are good at the rate I'm going, I'll have it too.

More to follow!

Okay, a "couple" Commodore 64's may be an understatement. The donor did state that these were all "parts machines" that did not run when they were tossed into storage 30-ish years ago. I'm confident we can get some of these back on the road!

I'm hoping to have a C64 repair party sometime down the road too, depending on what parts and patches we need to get some of these rolling again. 🥳
