Hello all! many thanks to everyone who attended, helped with, or otherwise supported our February 2023 Open House show earlier today! It was one of our best shows yet with a steady flow of visitors through the room all day!

A few photos that I got through the show:

The iMac G4 and iMac G5, which both ran great through the whole show.

The rest of the lineup! Starting on the far end, we have the Macintosh Plus, Macintosh SE, Macintosh SE/30, Macintosh Classic, Macintosh Classic II, Power Macintosh 5400, Power Macintosh G3 AIO "Molar Mac", iMac G3, and the eMac.

The Macintosh Plus wouldn't read any disks, while the Molar Mac, iMac G3 and eMac all refused to fire up. So it goes!

The back of the lineup, with the iMac G3, eMac, iMac G4, and iMac G5. Behind the tables are the "Think Different" posters from the famous Apple marketing campaign.

Before the show, @DeanG reached out to me that he was thinking of bringing a Macintosh II, a rather revolutionary machine for Apple. Unfortunately we weren't able to jump start the soft power battery system (it's one of a handful of Macs that will not run without a battery inside) so it was set up at the show for the public to see as it was. The tool-less case meant we were able to show off the "guts" of the system for a few hours, which is always neat!

Many thanks to @DeanG, @PS2it and @OSC003 for their help setting up and tearing down the event with me. Additional thanks to everyone who stopped by the show to see it and say hey, who helped organize, spread the word, and so on. These shows are tremendous fun, and I'm thankful to all of you who help make them possible for all of us and the community at large that also seems to really enjoy them!

Looking forward to the next show! 🥳

Thank you all. I attended the show with one of my daughters. I've gone a veeeery long time having never seen a classic mac of any sort in person. It was so cool seeing a bunch of them all lined up.

The highlight for my daughter was playing Commander Keen on the IBM AT that was setup on the separate table. She's asked me to install it on her laptop for her. 😁 She also enjoyed seeing me play a bit of Tetris and was surprised when I told her that the guy we were discussing Oregon Trail with was the mayor!

One other random observation from my daughter--the old colorful Apple logo is much better than the current "boring" one. :)
I completely agree!

Funny thing, Apple keeps teasing their old logo around, including using it in some advertising. The most significant was probably that iMac commercial from 2021. Maybe we haven't seen the end of the rainbow apple just yet!
