Micro Adventure BASIC coding books

I picked up one of these years ago, and wonder if other people find them interesting?
I would think this would be a good addition to one of the stations at an event.

I see these are still available, although likely going for more than the MSRP - https://www.thriftbooks.com/browse/?b.search=micro adventure#b.s=mostPopular-desc&b.p=1&b.pp=30&b.oos&b.tile

One of the reasons I love Python is that I cut my teeth on line-by-line BASIC, so I have kept mine with the idea of porting it.
Glad there are similar ideas, although heavier onthe code and lighter on the story: https://nostarch.com/missionpython

I've got a couple BASIC program books from the early 80's, one intended for the TRS-80 CoCo and one for the VIC-20. Crazy o think that you'd spend probably a good hour typing in 4-12 pages of text just to get very simple game to run on the machines. I can see how it would get people into coding in a hurry though!

We can definitely put something like that together for future shows! Good thinking sir!
