If anyone is interested in a blast from the past I scanned and uploaded almost all of the MilAtari (Milwaukee Area Atari Users Group) newsletters.
first issue was December 1981 and the last was March 1995. They are available to look at on the "Internet Archive" website.
Just do a search for MIlAtari

Thanks Dave for putting that together. Interesting to see that the last was in 1995. I wonder if anyone has the MAST newsletters...

Some of us from the old MilAtari group still get together. We are now semi-officially the Milwaukee Computer Society (semi-official since we didn't register the name and there aren't too many of us). We had a lunch get together a couple of Saturdays ago and the topic of the newsletters came up. One of the people there does have all of the MAST newsletters. I'm planning on borrowing them and scanning them too. fortunately not nearly as many issues as the MilAtari ones.

Were you a member of MAST? I joined later in their existence and helped with the merging of the two clubs.

Yup.. Me, TJ, Chuck. Dahms.. I was a member of both starting in 1991 when i first moved to the Milwaukee area. I stayed a member till my first kid was born in 98.. Life got too busy then. I'm listed in the newsletter as "Assistant / notible member" as "Diagnostics".. I saw that and had a laugh.. I remember the awesome MIDI demo TJ organized in the basement of the bowling alley and still have my Atarifest can cozy. Glad to see you are all still getting together. The last time I ran into the group was at Lee's funeral, so it's been a while. Geeze I was a lot thinner then. I attached the earliest digital photo I could find..

Yep, now that I see the picture I remember you well. Dave Landskron is the person that has the MASTnewsletters. I still have my 8-bits and ST. I should be bringing them up to the Wisconsin Computer Club's open house in Wisc. Rapids this Saturday.

I get a Christmas newsletter from Dave each year. Please let me know when you get together next. I would love to join.

We should be meeting at the Church again the 3rd Saturday in April. We don't get very many people in attendance, maybe 4 to 7. We mainly talk about a little bit of everything.
