I'll admit I don't follow the Amiga accelerator scene very closely. For what I use my machines for, I could never justify the literally thousands of dollars some cards and components command these days, and keeping track of what's the latest and greatest from a long line of short-run products isn't high on my priorities list. All the same, I've heard a lot of buzz on the "PiStorm" and other related devices that use the Raspberry Pi to emulate a top-shelf accelerator card. If true, a simple device costing less than $50 could beat some of the best accelerator cards ever built- and while that could be too good to be true the fact that some already exist is encouraging.
