It's an oddball machine that occupies a weird "space" in retro gaming. Everyone seems to know "of" it, but few people seem to have ever had one back when they were new. People who love the Dreamcast's flagship games (Like Sonic Adventure, for example) often picked them up on the Nintendo Gamecube, or even on the original Xbox later for a lot of the big titles.

I like it, but it lives in relative obscurity even in the world of retro, at least as far as I've seen.
