A USB to serial programmer dongle thing- I don't recall the brand. I used it to flash the firmware on some Gotek drives early last year, and haven't used it since. I'm trying to declutter, so if you want it, it's yours!
It's basically a USB serial port that you can connect to any port or header you like. I see these used for things like serial terminals and whatnot quite a bit.
