VCF Display Rig

So I've been working out what I want to do for the WCC "booth" at the upcoming Vintage Computer Festival Midwest running September 10th-11th, and determined I wanted to have some sort of visual aid to talk about the club even when I'm not standing right there. This is the result:

This is my father's old HP Compaq 6000 Pro, a Windows 10 all in one that is about as bare bones as possible, while still maintaining it's fairly large "iMac-like" screen, though I'd imagine that's what HP was going for when they cooked this thing up in the first place.

The keyboard and mouse aren't going- the world isn't ready for that sort of power just yet.

The plan with this one is that I'll have a slide show about the WCC, what we do, recycling, and all that jazz. I'll also have a whole bunch of old 80's computer TV commercials thrown in and set to "shuffle" so the thing will always have something on there to look at, and it won't be a droning loop for those stuck around it (namely me).

That said, if anyone has anything you'd like put in front of the public at VCFMW (including your videos, social media handles, etc.) I can certainly make that happen too. Likewise, if anyone wants to "opt out" of being shown in here, I can accommodate that too.

It's a somewhat unusual machine, so here's a tour of the unit:

If anyone has any ideas for this, or any other facet of our display, I'm eager to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
