Hello all!

Our next show at the Portage County Stevens Point library is blocked in for Saturday, April 29th from 10Am until 4PM, with an hour of setup and teardown before and after. For those who have exhibited or attended before, everything is going to be the same from a logistics/operations point of view.

The show theme as decided by previous exhibitors will be the Zilog Z80 microprocessor, and the myriad of machines it powered through the years!

Likewise, as this is the first "big" gathering we've had since the 3DO entered the roster, I'll bring along some of the oddball 90's videogame machines so we can have some fun with them too. :D

As always, the "theme" is only suggested- anyone and everyone is free to bring just about anything they want to show off and share with the club and the public during the event. Admission will be free as always for exhibitors and attendees- and I'm happy to provide table coverings, signage, or just about anything else you might need for your display(s). ;)

I hope to see you there!

The library address is: 1001 Main Street, Stevens Point, WI, 54481.

On the Z80 front I have the Cambridge Z80-powered tablet/slabtop thing(?), an Osborne 1 (albeit with some cosmetic issues), and I plan to have a working KayPro 4. I can bring the NABU as well, unless someone else wants to bring theirs instead. Mine is barebones in terms of configuration.

I do not have a Timex Sinclair any more- if anyone has one, that would be very cool to see up and running.

Great, can't wait!

If I can get the Timex up and running, I can bring it. I've also got the KayPro, TRS-80 Model 1, TRS-80 Model 4, and the TeleVideo I can bring along!

I've posted to the Stevens Point community Facebook group inviting other collectors/hobbyists/etc. to hop in as exhibitors. All of my stuff is scalable, so we'll be able to make room if needed. I don't expect we'll have too many, but I guess we will find out soon enough!

So here's the photo I tossed on the WCC Facebook group, and have shared in a few variants across a few platforms.

Feel free to invite folks you know, this is going to be a great show!

As an aside, I'll bring the Mattel Aquarius and the Laser PC6 with as well. The Colecovision runs a Z80 as well, but it's still out of commission from Evercon. I can expedite repairs to that one if people want to see it though. ;)

Hey, would you guys want to see the Sega Master System instead of the Colecovision? It's also a Z80 machine, if you can believe it.

I have a Colecovision as well and an amazing homebrew game I had recently bought, plus multicart thinggy. Also love SMS it seems like such a forgotten machine, I remember many years back I had one that had "Hang On" and I think one other game built in. Maybe they all do?

I'm down for whatever- I've just gotta get a final count down so I'm not bringing any duplicates. 😃

This is going to be a great show!

More pictures!

I'd never heard of Micro Ace before, so this was very cool!

I don't remember if this was before or after the smoke.

The Sinclair QL is definitely something you don't see everyday!
