So, some context! We're very lucky that we have a number of Amiga machines that are in working condition. We also have a pair of Gotek drives that emulate the Amiga floppy drives with plenty of software on them. The problem is connecting them to the Amigas, as Commodore/Amiga designed these things in such a convoluted way that it's tricky to attach anything to them without modifying the cases, or leaving the cases open with cords laying all over. This still leaves a few cables around, but way less of them and without any modifications to the Amigas. This will let us take these things to shows without having to dismantle the units to use the Gotek, or skipping the Gotek and relying on the four-ish games we have to demo these systems. All in all, a net gain!
Here's hoping it gets here before the next show on October 1st, I'd love to drag one of these in public again, they are so cool!
