I missed the opportunity to buy an Aqua Mouse promo that had small house in the bubble, and I didn't see what it was promoting. It was a ball mouse, not a laser like in the video below.
Would love ot hvae one of these Sims one.

I've got a couple, all of them ball mice if I remember right. They used to be pretty common at Goodwill- usually promoting pills and other medical products. I've also got one from Target- I got that one when I worked there once. I'll dig em' out and share some pictures!

That Sims mouse is very cool though- I didn't know they had made those!

I still have two! They're both USB ball mice.

First up is a promo item for Enfamil, a baby formula. These sort of little handout promo items were pretty common in healthcare settings all over the place until the Affordable Care Act came about in 2010, specifically it's "Anti Kickback Statue" which threatened penalties to physicians that might accept "excessive" vendor gifts. While it was likely meant more to curb things like luxury gifts and other items that might influence prescribing habits, these sort of things fell out in a big way. While the law has been better defined in the years since, branded computer accessories aren't nearly as common anymore.

This thing has some scratches on top, but doesn't have too many signs of ever being used. It's likely that this thing spent it's days in a desk drawer. The liquid level inside is lower than when it was manufactured though. I've kept this (and it's Target counterpart) in sealed plastic bags to prevent possible leaks and perhaps to help stave off any minute evaporation that might be taking place. It is mighty dry down in the shop, so it might help a bit.

The camera would not focus on this part at all I'm afraid- this is the best photo out of more than a dozen I took, so sorry it's a bit blurry still. The blue liquid inside has "congealed" into one blob that seems to be stuck to the bottom of the can. The can itself is supposed to be a can of Enfamil Lipil powdered baby formula. Enfamil last used this version of their logo in 2012, putting it in chronological place with the ACA's "anti kickback" portions taking effect. Interestingly the little can is missing the Beatrix Potter rabbits on it, which are shown prominently on all of their pre-2012 products (example below). Did the license to use the rabbits on their stuff not carry over to mini versions of their products placed into computer mice? This part was quite a rabbit hole when I was looking it up... no pun intended. 😆

I could not find the exact can though, so this red one will have to suffice.

Not much going on on the bottom.

Now on to Target! I took a job with Target in 2019, and I was offered one of these out of a huge box of them "if I wanted one" and I of course did. They had a simple plastic sleeve over them and they were mostly full at the time- and this one is more "full" than the Enfamil mouse.

I like the "Target" livery on the other plastics.

The actual "bullseye" itself isn't anything too special though. The red gel inside still moves around freely.

Same mouse, different plastics.

I saw one of these come up on eBay when I was more actively looking for weird mice, but it had Bullseye the dog in it instead of the bullseye logo. The Target dog mascot is definitely the superior variant imho.

I went to see what Aqua Mice are going for on eBay, and somebody is selling an Enfamil one for $40 plus shipping HERE.

I'll let mine go for a lot less than that. ;)
