Another IDEA Center show is on the way! Facebook Event HERE.

We're headed back, this time with a "theme" of sorts. The "theme" for this show is "weird or unusual" and that can be interpreted however you like. Weird system? Great! Unusual game? Groovy! Offbeat controllers or peripherals? Fantastic! Bizarre display or TV? Rock and roll!

It's a "loose" theme; not "hard and fast" rules. Just have fun with it, and we hope to see you there!

The show at the Idea center was superb!





The main lineup included six units, from left to right we had the Magnavox Odyssey 2, Mattel Aquarius, Panasonic 3DO FZ-10, Atari Jaguar, Philips CDI, and NEC PC-FX.



Another exhibitor brought in their portable homemade multicade arcade cabinet.



We had a fairly good sized crowd too! I hope this continues as we move into the school season.

Mr. Collins was kind enough to bring some of his homebrew hardware which was extremely impressive to see.









I think he's on these forums, but I don't know which handle is his. 😅 Mad props to him all the same for bringing these beauties to share with all of us!

We also had @MattPilz bring his Aquarius+ computer, a reimagining of the Mattel Aquarius that has more features. It's actually pretty impressive what it can do with a bit more software support under the hood.
