Some photos from EgoCon in Plover. EgoCon is the annual gathering of the North Eastern Wisconsin Freinds of the Doctor (NEWFOD) organization, and is one of Portage County's oldest conventions. Celebrating 40 years running this year, and still in the process of rebuilding after Covid and the loss of their former longtime venue, and several of the veteran members of the NEWFOD organization, the turnout was somewhat lower than anticipated, though all who did attend had a good time. We had a table there that I ran, and we got more people interested in what we're doing, as well as connecting with others who might want to hop onto our shows when we're able to run "bigger" events in the future.
These four comprise my "quick kit" of machines that are both fairly reliable and small enough to all fit in one box- there wasn't much more rhyme or reason to it than that. From left to right, Maganvox Odyssey 3000, Atari 2600, Sega Genesis and Sega CD, and finally the venerable Commodore 64.
Some Mandalorain Mercenaries appeared next to us. They were very cool!
They brought their finest wall decoration with them.
One of the Dalek's had a try at it.
