Hello all! Our next major show will be Evercon from March 1st through 3rd, and it's gonna be big! Probably the biggest show for the WCC in terms of equipment deployed. We'll be joining the Gamehuggers and a few other organizations in bringing together the absolute maximum of retro tech for folks to experience. It's going to be a ton of fun!

This is the room it's going to be in again, but we're anticipating more tables this time around.

I’ll be able to attend until about 6pm Saturday.

Should I bring the portables again? Any suggestions on anything else?

Definitely gonna bring Stretch Armstrong.:)

Damn, I totally forgot Stretch Armstrong!

Impressive setup by all involved! Very few stones left unturned.

As the show progressed and exhibitors came and went (and a couple machines went down, or were moved to bigger screens) some things moved around a bit.

Odds and ends!

The guys at Green Shell Games, a video game dealer out of Michigan who attends these shows, picked up this magnificent TV. They wanted to test the VHS side, and by chance I had a random tape in one of the VCR combo sets at the show. Astonishingly, they didn't want to keep the Star Wars Episode 1 tape. 😆

On Saturday I was dressed up as the evil mad scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester from Mystery Science Theater 3000. Some folks thought I was Beakman, which I'll take as well. 😁

The surprise "star" of the show was the bootleg NES Mini, the "Cool Baby" system. I'd brought it around as an alternate in case anything crashed, and we had one Xbox 360 Elite crash almost immediately, so it ran all three days.

It is a veritable buffet of weird ROM hacks and bootleg silliness. Several of the club members and I had quite a bit of fun messing with this one!
