Tektronix 561A Oscilloscope

A very generous donor sent this cool piece of hardware my way, and it's time to figure out what to do with it!

This is a 1962 Tektronix 561A "portable" oscilloscope (portable in the sense that you "can" move it) and it's full of vacuum tubes and dust. I'd be willing to wager it hasn't been powered on in ages. I've consulted with a few people I know who have some more experience with old tube TVs and radios (which are much closer to what this thing is than any sort of modern device) before I move too much further with this one. I'd like to clean it up, but I'm leery to do much to it unless I know what I'm doing. If anyone has any guidance on that front, I'd be keen to know more!

After that, there's the lingering question of what to do with it afterwards. It may work, it may not, so I'm open to any and all ideas. Thanks everyone!

Previously @MattPilz suggested we could use this unit as something of a musical display piece by feeding audio into the analog inputs. They included a video of a similar setup, and how hat might look:

I think that could be a pretty cool thing to see at future shows, assuming we can get this machine working.

Really nice looking scope! I think my next scope will be a handheld one since I think that would be pretty handy if I am working on something at home at work.
