A while back, the WCC was donated an absolutely gorgeous 1970's RCA TV set. It's black and white, but it's got a brilliant woodgrain aesthetic to it. It hasn't been to any shows yet, as the tuner is broken- it can't dial in on any signal.
I'm planning to reorganize my storage spaces, and I recently got a new tool to try out on this, so I set it up to see what it might do. For the video source, I fed "Klonoa" on the PS1 into it through the RF booster to see if I could catch any of it.
Lucky for me, I got music straight away, so I took a video with my phone. Then this happened (Language warning, I was startled!):
The TV proceeded to run fine for about 90 seconds before the snow returned. The big takeaway here is that this set is definitely fixable!
