Winter Shows to new Regions

Hello all!

I'm endeavoring to spread the WCC fun to some more areas. While we're set to visit Wisconsin Rapids later this month (November 2023) I'm still trying to find a way to get us over to Marshfield for sure and other spots where our members are. While I'm very thankful that all of you come to visit our fairly regular shows here in Stevens Point, I'd like to "bring the show to you" so to speak when it's feasible to do so.

If anyone has ideas of places/venues that might be open to host either a small format retro game show or a larger format open house show, I'm keen to hear them so I can get the ball rolling. As of right now there's nothing between our end-of-year show in Wausau on December 21st, and our headliner event at Evercon 2024 on March 1st, so we've got a few months completely open to look at soon.

Many thanks all! This will be fun! 🥳

Our next open house show will be at the Portage County Stevens Point Library on Saturday, January 20th.

Although late to the party on this, anything on the east half of the state would be nice as the drive from Green Bay to Stevens Point means I often can't go to events.

We've been looking into doing something in the Appleton area, and beyond. We can certainly do some more over that way!

That would be terrific. I’m sure I could drum up some interest locally (and even bring a few systems). Really anything close to 41 and you’ll draw people from Oshkosh to Green Bay.

Any chance you might be coming down to the Milwaukee area this year? Not sure if there is any type of Retro Computer groups here.
If you know of any could you let me know?
