Macintosh LC 520

Many thanks to a friend of the club, we got a very dirty but intact Macintosh LC 520. this was the all-in-one evolution from the Macintosh Color Classic- set up under the "LC" range for schools. It's an odd intermediate between machines and design languages, and this is the first time I've had one that isn't smashed to bits (see old Frankenstein HERE).

To my understanding, it spent a fair amount of time in storage where it was exposed to some moisture. There's a bit of corrosion on the board, but the battery is missing.

I plugged it in to see what it might do. It fired up, somehow. Even the hard drive still worked at least one last time. It both sounds and smells awful.

Definitely from a school. What you see is what there is.

I'm hoping it'll clean up nice and it can make an appearance... and hopefully still be working!
